Ways to Give
+
We invite parishioners to reorient their lives around God’s providence, to generously pay it forward by taking a risk in trust.
We cherish every contribution, no matter the size, because we know giving requires sacrifice.
Ultimately, we trust that God is the one Who brings growth, so we can move forward without anxiety, confident that He provides.

CALLED TO MORE
"Here I am Lord, I come to do your will." - Psalm 40
We invite parishioners to prayerfully consider a sacrificial and meaningful gift that goes beyond their annual offertory support.
To achieve our campaign goals, we must rely on the participation and generosity of every parish family. Please reference the gift chart below as you prayerfully consider your level of support. Your gift makes a difference! Gifts beyond this chart are welcomed.
HOW TO GIVE
Determine the best way that you can help us Build the Body of Christ!
Cash/ Check/ Credit Card
Gifts of cash are the most common and allow the parish to address its immediate needs.
Donating cash is as simple as writing a check, authorizing a charge on your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) or arranging for automatic withdraw from your bank account. Checks should make be payable to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Vidalia, GA (write Capital Campaign on the memo line). Recurring payments are strongly encouraged and can be made through our online giving portal, ParishSoft Giving!
Pledges
Pledges are commitments made in good faith but are not legally binding.
We ask that you consider making a pledge over a one-year period to maximize the total amount of your support. A donor may fulfill a commitment through weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual or annual installments. We encourage all donors to consider a 10-20 percent initial payment to begin your commitment. Recurring payments are strongly encouraged and can be made through our online giving portal, ParishSoft Giving!
Securities
Appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds shares can have an immediate impact on our campaign.
Securities create an income tax deduction for you based on their current value. Since there is no capital gains tax when you make a charitable gift, you receive an additional tax benefit above the charitable gift donation. Contact the Diocese of Savannah Stewardship and Development Office at (912) 201-4050 for more information.
Matching Gifts
Several local companies offer employee matching gift programs.
This allows a donor to maximize their giving potential and often double their gift. For information and required forms, check with your company’s human resources department.
Planned Gifts
Planned giving is the process of carefully selecting the best method and asset for making a charitable gift.
Such a gift can enable you to take full advantage of the tax laws to accomplish your financial and charitable goals. Planned gifts can be made through bequests by will or living trust, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, charitable gift annuities, beneficiary benefits from life insurance, IRAs, pensions or financial accounts.
Supportive Prayer
The greatest gift you can give is your time spent in prayer for the campaign.
Please pray for the continued blessing of our parish and mission.
